One I Missed…
I like to think I am aware of most Conspiracy theories. The majority of them are plain crazy, some are just hilarious, and there are even some I actually believe in.
(Kennedy assassination, 9/11 collusion)
But it seems I have missed one. One that is apparently common knowledge to everyone except me.
With rumours surfacing that Michelle Obama will run for President at the next election, the online haters are out in strength. They are promoting the theory that she was born a man, and is actually Transgender. Supporting this, they show many photos that I am unwilling to reproduce here, claiming to show anatomical evidence proving the theory.
However, one of the more ‘neutral’ photos is worth seeing. Is this a well-done photoshop fake? Some think it is, others claim it shows ‘Michael’ many years ago.
As this apparently well known conspiracy theory completely escaped me over the decades, I would be interested to hear from anyone who knows more about it, especially my blogging friends in America. I should add that if this was actually true, it would not concern me in the least. But this online campaign directed at Mrs Obama reflects the ongoing divisions in America today.
I agree that photo trickery is good these days

This rumour first broke in 2014 when Joan Rivers claimed that Barry Obama was the first gay President and that ‘Big Mike’ was a trannie. The absence of many photos of Michelle obviously pregnant didn’t help dispel the rumour, and coupled with her interview claiming to have conceived by IVF, it could be interpreted that Barry doesn’t like to play ‘hide the sausage’.

I can’t believe I missed this one, Keith. 🙂 Thanks for adding the extra information.
Love to all, Pete. x

The lies are still lies even when they are called conspiracy theories. Warmest regards, Ed

This one obviously didn’t feature in Britain at the time, Ed.

That’s a new one. Who cares if it’s true but I rather doubt it as they have two daughters and I can’t quite see how they would have managed. What do I know. This: we are headed for big trouble. Fox News is allowed to continue broadcasting hideous lies even though they have admitted they know them to be lies. It is quite beyond me but the country is going down and I see no way of avoiding what’s coming. I sure hope all those idiots enjoy living in the wreckage. I would leave if I could,

Things are not great in England, but compared to America it feels ‘calm’. I feel sure that your next Presidential election will be a flashpoint.
Best wishes, Pete.

I agree Pete. I am wondering how they plan to conduct it but even if they succeed, if the Democrats, win it will called fake.

I took that for granted, but was surprised I had never heard of it before.

I take conspiracy theories with a grain of salt. There is one for everything these days.
But, the idea of having another incompetent Obama in office scares the crap out of me!

Back when I first heard it, suddenly pictures of a young Michelle started showing up in the media.

One of the weirdest I have seen, Peggy. And apparently stongly supported.
Best wishes, Pete.

There is no need to pursue these right-wing conspiracy theories because their only value is in warning the rest of the world how evil and dangerous Conservatism has become in these modern times.

I wasn’t aware of this one, Pete, but what I would say is that it’s virtually impossible [no pun intended!] to believe any photo or video footage now, because the fakery is so good. On top of that, as the saying goes: “Haters gonna hate”. Cheers, Jon.

I vaguely remember this one from Obama’s early years but it quickly crapped out. chuq

It seems to be emerging again, after those Presidential rumours.
Thanks, chuq.

These things are all over the place all the time. I heard one once claiming that Trump is a transgender person. I didn’t believe it then and I don’t believe it now. But I do believe he does behave like a spiteful bitch sometimes.
